Brian and Lorena met at Vanguard University in 1982. After graduating with their Bible degrees, Brian continued to get his Masters in Missions from Fuller Theological Seminary, and later his Doctorate of Ministry from Westminster Theological Seminary.  Over the years they have served as missionaries in Indonesia, five years planting churches and establishing a Bible school in the Philippines, and the last 13 years pastoring Calvary Chapel of San Juan Capistrano, CA, which they planted.  As Brian pastored, Lorena focused on Children's Ministry and homeschooling their five children. Now God has called them to a new work in Mozambique.  Centered at the base in Maringanha, they will help Iris Ministries train and strengthen their pastors in this land of revival and amazingly rapid church growth.  They have two daughters, one married (Marissa), another in college (Danielle), and three sons (pictured) who will be going with them. Thank you for your prayers for the Wood family!
